Under the Weather

I promise I haven't completely abandoned my blog. I've spent the entire month of September and part of October fighting what I thought was a chest cold. After 2 weeks of endless hacking I decided to go to the doctor because I was growing concerned that the lingering cough could possibly be something more. It was.

During my doctors appointment I had to wear a mask because of my cough and I had several symptoms similar to the swine flu, which I was tested for and thank goodness it came back negative. While I was waiting for the results I started to panic with the thought of "what if..." I was SO relieved when the nurse practitioner told me I had pneumonia. Still not fun, but at least it's not swine flu!

While I've started to recover from pneumonia, I managed to pass my cough and congestion on to Brendyn. Poor thing has been sleeping sitting up for 10 days. And now I've managed to catch another head cold. Ugh, when will it go away! So I promise once we are finally over this stuff I will catch up and post pictures from Kate's Princess Party, Soccer Games, and show you some updated photos of Brendyn - he's 3 months now and he weighs 15 lbs 2 oz. He's gotten so big so fast!
